We advise you to bring a bottle of water and put on closed shoes for this day because you will have to walk. Do not forget your cap and sunscreen if the weather is clear and warm, outside the aquarium.
Step : The discovery of the marine fauna
: The discovery of the marine faunaThe first step of this holiday notebook is the aquarium of Les Sables d’Olonne. To fully enjoy your visit, we advise you to leave around 9:30 am (count between 20 and 25 minutes to get there)
Arriving at its opening, at 10am, you can discover the fauna of the seas and oceans of the world in peace, the aquarium being much less crowded in the morning than in the afternoon.

: Talmont Saint HilaireYou have free time after your visit to the aquarium? Go for a walk in the town of Talmon-Saint-Hilaire. Walk the streets of this beautiful village and admire the beautiful castle overlooking it.
For lunch, you can also have a picnic in your backpack!
What better way to digest than a little stroll? Visit the village of Talmont-Saint-Hilaire and walk the streets of this beautiful village to discover the castle. You can even visit this ancient fortress whose first vestiges date back to 1020!
Step : The discovery of the aerial fauna
: The discovery of the aerial faunaAfter this digestive walk, take the car. Direction: Poiroux, 10km from Talmont to visit the theme park la Folie de Finfarine.
La Folie de Finfarine welcomes you in a wooded area of 10 hectares to make you aware of the life of bees and its environment. Enjoy a unique family experience during the opening of the hive. A journey that will transport you from pollination to honey making!

The visit of the park is without reservation. Your ticket is valid for one person and for one day.

Visit duration: For a family with children, we recommend a minimum visit time of 3 hours, or even 4 hours in summer.

- More than 500 exotic animals
- 60 species
- More than half of these species are subject to European or international protection measures
- The enclosure of each species has been specially designed for its well-being, reproducing at best the natural environment.
This timeless place, in addition to being a zoo, makes ecology one of its priorities. During your visit, you will be made aware of eco-responsibility. One of the main missions of the eco-zoo is the conservation of local and wild species.
