Domaine de l’Orée, a pet-friendly campsite where your four-legged friends are welcome!

At Domaine de l’Orée, you can enjoy a family vacation with your pets! Here, dogs are not only accepted, but welcomed with special attention. We know that they are an integral part of your daily life, which is why we have designed a stay that is as enjoyable for them as it is for you.

Our campsite has facilities specially designed for them: walking areas, a refreshment area, dog showers, and much more.
And the good news is that all our cottages are dog-friendly! So you can enjoy comfortable, suitable accommodation without having to leave your faithful companion behind.

Because vacations are better when shared, Domaine de l’Orée is the ideal place for a stay that’s 100% bonding and relaxation! 🐶🌿

At your disposal, enjoy an agility park to tire them out, a dog shower to refresh them after the beach, and bowls of fresh water available at reception and at the bar. A stick box, inspired by book boxes, even allows them to choose their favorite stick for the walk! And to mark their arrival in style, each companion receives a welcome medal (engraved with your pitch number and the campsite logo so that you can easily find them if they run away).

A few guidelines once you arrive:

  • Remember to pick up after your dog.
  • If you run out of dog waste bags, don’t panic—they are available free of charge at reception.
  • Leave the facilities clean after use (showers, play areas, etc.).
  • Keep your dog on a leash within the campsite (except in designated areas).
  • Put on their ID tag for their safety in case they run away.
  • Always bring fresh water.
  • /!\ Sand is like asphalt: it’s hot for their paws /!\
  • On the beach: shade and water.
  • Never leave them locked in the car.
  • In your accommodation, make sure it stays cool every day, as the temperature rises quickly when the sun is shining. There is always a light breeze in the Vendée, so make the most of it: open the windows to let the air circulate.
  • Rinse your dog thoroughly with clean water to remove salt and sand.

Beaches where dogs are allowed:

Sauveterre Beach: accessible year-round outside the swimming area

Granges Beach: accessible year-round
